Community fundraising is all about doing your own thing to raise money for Halton Haven. We truly appreciate you choosing to raise money for us and we will help you as much as we can.

Set up a fundraising page

You can create an online fundraising page, allowing your friends and family to donate quickly, easily and securely. All donations to your page will come straight into the our bank account so you don’t need to worry about chasing people up for money! Simply visit www.justgiving.com/haltonhavenhospice or www.virginmoneygiving.com/charities/haltonhaven to create your page.

Spread the word

The more people that know about your fundraising, the more people are likely to support you! Make the most of your social media, work noticeboards, email lists and word of mouth to keep all your family, friends and colleagues updated.

Matched giving

Many workplaces have some sort of matched giving policy. This means they will match the fundraising efforts of their employees. Speak to your charity contact (or line manager, marketing department or HR department) at work.

How we can help

We truly appreciate your support and fundraising efforts and we will support you as best we can. Whether it’s fundraising materials, advice and ideas, someone from the Hospice attending your event, or a cheque presentation photo afterwards – just get in touch and we’ll arrange it.

How to pay in your money

Once you’ve finished your fundraising, there are several ways of getting the money to us.
– Bring the cash or cheques into the Hospice
– Send a cheque in the post (Halton Haven Hospice, Barnfield Avenue, Runcorn, WA7 6EP)
– Pay the money direct into our account (contact us on the details below to arrange)
